About Us

Athena has been a speech therapist for 9 years, ​working in Pre-K-12 schools in NY, ​CA, and FL, and in homes ​across Southern California providing mobile Early Intervention speech services. 

Athena holds a Master's of Communication Science ​and Disorders from New York University. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency ​(CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and is a ​member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing ​Association (ASHA) with good standing. She has her ​FL license from the Florida Board of Examiners in ​Speech-Language Pathology and has supervised ​speech therapist assistants under her license.

She holds an additional Master’s degree in Human ​Factors, specializing in creating learning ​environments and skill building approaches that are ​easily accessible and maximally effective. In addition, she is ​particularly adept in helping toddlers move from one word to two words, and R sound speech therapy.
