A little about the person behind Habitat Speech Therapy
I'm Athena, a licensed speech-language pathologist with over ten years of experience working with children across New York, California, and Florida. I founded Habitat Speech Therapy because I wanted a place where the child is truly centered first, not the system or the schedule.
In your home, I can see your child in their real world. I can build therapy into the rhythms of your day, the toys already on the floor, the routines you've spent years creating together. That's where lasting change and carryover happens.
My training spans both communication sciences and human factors - the science of designing experiences that truly work for the people in them. Which means every session I plan is shaped around your specific child, family, and lifestyle.
